Hurricane Harvey Makes Landfall
This past week, most Americans have kept up to date on the catastrophic results of Hurricane Harvey’s landfall on Texas. Houston has been one of the cities that has been hardest hit by record-breaking flooding. The flooding has forced Houston to shut down and displaced its citizens. Despite many in Texas preparing for the worst, the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has left them still needing the basic items to necessary to survive. No could imagine that after twelve years of not seeing a hurricane, Texas would have been hit as hard as it has been. Thankfully, not only have Texans banded together to help each other, but volunteers from all over the country are uniting to help Texans that have lost everything.

Americans Donate, in association with Emergency Case are working with ProfileOverlays.com to push out a new Facebook profile overlay to help collect donations for Texas during this dire time. Together, they will be donating emergency supplies to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Americans Donate is a Veteran operated nonprofit organization that prides itself in helping fellow Americans who are affected by emergencies and disasters. Their mission is to help as many people as they can and provide emergency preparedness training and gear for those who need it most. Emergency Case is generously donating food, water, medical and other emergency equipment to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. The goal is to provide as much essential emergency supplies and equipment to those who have been affected by this catastrophic flooding.
